Welcome to The Arc of Buncombe County’s new home on the web. The mission of our organization is to empower individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in our community. We achieve our mission by helping clients realize their highest potential through advocacy, education, programming and family support.

JONAS GERARD IS HOSTING A PAINTING PERFORMANCE – ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE ARC OF BUNCOMBE COUNTY’S SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ON THURSDAY, MARCH 29TH!

Internationally recognized River District artist, Jonas Gerard, is hosting a Painting Performance and Art Auction to benefit The Arc of Buncombe County’s Summer Camp Program.  Gerard’s work has been exhibited all over the United States and abroad, and is in numerous collections, including the Smithsonian Institution, World Bank, Siemens Energy, Worldwide Nissan, Price Waterhouse, and Sassoon Fashions, among others.  He has pledged 50% of all funds from the art sales will go to The Arc’s Summer Camp Scholarship Program! Additionally, all proceeds (100%) from the tickets will also be given to Summer Camp program. Please come to show your support for CHILDREN!
